Being a Part of the WIE Community
As a WIE Community Member, Zahrah has appreciated the chance to connect with others and unwind through shared experiences. "Through WIE, I've met some of my close friends. It's been such a great way to de-stress and connect with other students."
Being a WIE Program Assistant
As a new WIE Program Assistant, Zahrah is excited to take on a role that reflects the impact WIE has had on her college journey. "I only recently joined the WIE PA team, but WIE has been such an important part of my college experience over the past three years. I’ve met so many close friends, and even with our busy schedules, WIE gives us a chance to connect in a more social setting.
Professionally, Zahrah values how her involvement with WIE has strengthened her leadership and mentorship skills. “My roles in WIE have strengthened my leadership by helping me navigate complex situations and develop mentorship skills with underclassmen and admitted students. I’m so excited to be a WIE PA, and I can’t wait for the year ahead!”
