“Engaging with diverse organizations within Grainger Engineering—including WIE, ARISE, MEP, GFX, and IPENG—has given me invaluable insight into the power of community and support in shaping the student experience. These incredible experiences and opportunities have shaped my career path, inspiring me to become part of the organizations here at the University of Illinois that foster community and support for our Grainger Engineers. I now serve as the Academic Advisor and Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Transfer Recruitment at The Grainger College of Engineering. In this role, my colleagues and I work together to build a strong sense of community for our Engineering Pathway students and incoming Engineering Transfer students, ensuring they feel supported and empowered on their academic journey.
